We applied for an AI award with a deck that says $0 revenue
AppX applied to the AICA Awards on 8 October 2026. The form asked for real metrics, so the deck has them: 253 accounts, 257 projects, no paying customers.

On 8 October 2026 we applied to the AICA Awards, run by the Central Asian Association for Artificial Intelligence. The ceremony is on 30 October in Dushanbe.
The application is one form and one pitch deck. The form is specific about the deck. It must carry three groups of numbers: financial and revenue, customers and unit economics, growth and engagement. Where a number does not exist yet, the deck has to say so.
So we wrote the deck with the numbers we have. This post is that deck, all 12 slides, unchanged.
The numbers on the day we applied
| As of 8 October 2026 | |
|---|---|
| Registered accounts | 253 |
| Projects created | 257 |
| Accounts that built something in the last 30 days | 20 |
| Builds and edits in the last 30 days | 148 |
| Builds that finished, last 30 days | 85 of 148 (57%) |
| Builds that finished, last 7 days | 49 of 71 (69%) |
| Paying customers | 0 |
| Paid subscriptions to date | 1 (Premium at $50 a month, since cancelled) |
| Monthly recurring revenue | $0 |
| Outside capital raised | $0 |
Cost to win a customer, lifetime value and gross margin are marked "no data yet" in the deck. With no paying customers there is nothing to compute.
Why we are publishing it
- The jury sees these numbers. Someone deciding whether to build their app with AppX should see the same picture.
- Small real numbers are easier to trust than large round ones.
- This post becomes the baseline. When the numbers move, anyone can check them against it.
The deck

The problem as we see it: the first real test of an idea comes last, after the brief, the design and the developer.

Describe, see the plan of screens, try it in the browser or on your phone, change it by chat. The builder works in English, Russian and Uzbek.

Four apps our team built in September, with the credits each one actually cost: 90 for all four.

Prices are from each service's own pricing page, read on 3 October 2026.

What the deck does not hide
- Nobody is paying today. One person subscribed in July and later cancelled.
- Not every build finishes. 57% over the last 30 days, 69% over the last 7. This is the number we most want to move.
- It is one person. Product, servers and support.
What happens next
The ceremony is on 30 October. We will add the result to this post, whichever way it goes.
